There’s a lot to see on Critics Choice Awards list

As a proud and longtime member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, I’m very pleased to see such an eclectic and electric mix of 2008 awards nominees.
With few quibbles – mostly about “In Bruges” and “Happy-Go-Lucky,” two of my personal favorites, being shut out completely – it’s great to see my colleagues recognizing some small films, such as “Nothing But the Truth” and “Frozen River,” as readily as the bigger ones, including “The Dark Knight” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
